Mud weekend at Creek Ridge Campground

Male only, clothing optional, campground with three mud experiences.
A public open pit with sand silt and clay mixture 8'x10' 4' deep.
A natural bottomless bog.
And the slip pit with kaolin clay in a geodesic dome.

All weekend long.
This is listed as Poolaplooza weekend on website.
The "clean" boys will be at the pool, us "dirty" boys will be having fun elsewhere.

Still not sure if I can get out there this summer, but having done so in years past, it's definitely worth it. CRC is a nice campground, and is the most mud-friendly I have been to. Ground/water temps are warm enough there by late June/early July, and stay that way through August. This is not the ONLY time mudplay will be available there, so don't fret if you can't make this particular weekend.

Can guys just show up for the day? Does anyone know if it's frowned upon being in the pool fully clothed? I'd also be in the mud!! If someone could "smuggle" me in as I'm close enough to drive there for the day.

I really am interested in this and hope I can find nearby accommodations. A weekend submerged in mud would be heaven

I've never actually done anything with mud, but I think I might be open that Friday to try it out.

There are plenty of hotel options.
Jackson is closer than Lansing. Campground day passes should be available but can't guarantee it.

Hoping I'll have a good reliable car by then so my car will survive the trip.

Well as of today the only available accommodations are in the bunkhouse or tent camping. Really surprised it booked up that quick. And only one rental RV this year there were two last year. Very disappointed with CRC, no notice as to when they were taking reservations. All the other campgrounds give you the date so you can jump in.
